About Me:
Katie Curran MA, LMHCA
I am very passionate about working with alternative ways of addressing what is going on inside of us. Sometimes traditional talk methods can feel a bit difficult to start with and this is where I find that artistic methods can aide us on our work together. I have been working with expressive arts since 2016 in a variety of settings, both individually and in groups.
I specialize in working with young adults/college students and have worked in three different University counseling centers. This period of life can be very challenging and bring with it many ups and downs.
I also specialize in working with grief and loss. This is something our society struggles to be open and honest about. The loss itself can feel unimaginable to cope with; coupled with society not always responding in ways that feel helpful can create for an even further isolating experience. Im here to walk with you on this difficult journey and find a way through that feels right for you.
At the end of the day…being a human is weird. It’s easier with help. I’d be honored to be that person for you.
Since I am a counseling associate I need to be clear that I am under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Should you have any questions or concerns her contact information is:
